Designed:2:Learn is committed to improving learning opportunities by advancing the role of instructional design in 21st century learning environments.
Who are we?
Learning and Professional Development (LPD) is a team of seven professionals with skill sets ranging from K-12 and adult education to graphic design and instructional technology, who share a common passion for developing high fidelity learning opportunities for the 21st century learner.
Most importantly, we are eager to share our passion for learning with designers, educators, technologists, and administrators from around the world!
Why YOU Should Read this Blog
LPD is focused on improving educational practices not only for the NAU community, but for the training community as a whole. We hope that by sharing our knowledge and experiences, we can contribute to creating a more instructionally-sound global culture of instructional design.
Instructional design is not a process reserved for academic designers and technologists. Whether you are a corporate trainer, a kindergarten teacher, a higher education administrator, or an instructional designer, the topics covered in this blog will be helpful in identifying best practices for curriculum development and ensuring positive learning outcomes. Wherever you are in your career, the addition of instructional design pedagogies to you practice will help you take your teaching (and learning!) to the next level.
